Nostalgia

I have started to put together a series called "Nostalgia " with a view to it possibly becoming a photo book or "zine". With many people looking for a return to slow fashion, consumer goods being made repairable, reusable and to last , vintage homewares , tools, architecture and manufacturing have regained interest and value as examples of exactly that . I have long been drawn to the details that give so much character to vintage objects, older engineering , tools, architecture and homewares, making them immensely photogenic. As a result they appear regularly in my portfolio where I use close up images and shallow depth of field to highlight those all important details.
